SPENCER — The Spencer volleyball team improved to 4-0 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division with a 3-0 sweep of Gilman in a conference matchup Thursday night at Spencer High School.
Spencer won 25-22, 25-23, 25-18.
Macie Weber had seven kills and six blocks, Jenna Schober had seven kills and eight digs, Jenna Rogers added 10 digs, and Sadie Mercier had 20 assists for the Rockets.
“We played with a real lack of energy,” Spencer coach Buff Heller said. “Give Gilman credit, they played hard to every whistle. We have to pick up the enthusiasm next week.”
Spencer is at Colby next Tuesday and will host Neillsville on Oct. 1.
