Columbus Catholic soccer routs Tri-County

Malovrh scores twice for Dons

PLAINFIELD — Nick Malovrh had two goals, and four others netted scores as the Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team routed Tri-County 7-1 in a Mid-State Soccer Conference game Monday at Tri-County High School.

Charles Payant, Farid Torbey, Alexandra Hutchison, and Matthias Gouin added goals for the Dons, who improve to 7-0-2 overall and 4-0-2 in the MSSC. The Dons’ second goal of the game was an own goal by Tri-County.

Payant, Matt Olson, Nadim Torbey, and Zoe Stratman each had assists for Columbus Catholic.

Columbus plays at Wisconsin Valley Lutheran on Thursday.
