By Paul Lecker

Sports Reporter

WAUSAU — Ryan Krueger threw three touchdown passes to lead the Marshfield freshman football team to a 42-0 rout of Wausau West on Thursday at West High School.

Krueger threw TD passes of 48 and 5 yards to Jackson Ott and another of 15 yards to Mason Coffren.

Hunter Hanson had a 6-yard touchdown run, Coffren ran in from 20 yards out for a score, and Dylan Krug returned a fumble 14 yards for a TD for the Tigers. Krueger kicked all six extra points.

Justin Stanek, DJ Zimmermann, Nolan Hertel, and Justin Kuse led the Tigers in tackles, and Krug, Isaiah Baierl, and Bentley Schwanebeck-Osterman recovered fumbles for Marshfield.

Marshfield (2-1) hosts Stevens Point P.J. Jacobs on Sept. 17 at 4:30 p.m. at Marshfield High School.
