MARSHFIELD — On Sept. 5 Ace Hardware customers who make a $5 donation will receive a limited edition 5-gallon bucket and receive a discount on most everything that fits inside it. All donations will directly benefit children at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, supporting life-saving care and equipment.

Participating Ace Hardware locations in the local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals region include Adams, Ashland, Bayfield, Bessemer, Eagle River, Hayward, Medford, Merrill, Park Falls, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Weston, Wisconsin Rapids, and Woodruff.

“At Ace Hardware we’re committed to being the Helpful Place in each community we serve, and part of that means giving back,” said Ace Hardware Foundation President Jimmy Alexander. “We’re proud to help make miracles happen for children in need while at the same time providing customers with valuable incentives when they donate.”

Ace Hardware has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1991. Ace customers, retailers, vendors, and team members have together raised more than $64 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the country.

“The Ace Foundation is a valued partner in our mission to raise funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals across North America,” said John Lauck, president and CEO of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. “Funds raised through the bucket promotion will allow hospitals to provide crucial treatments, purchase vital medical equipment, and provide charity care for millions of kids. Ace’s support means kids have every chance to live better.”
