MARSHFIELD — The next Wild Wednesdays program at Wildwood Station is on Wednesday, July 15. Come learn about different animals from around the world with Zoozort. Presentations will be held at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

This program is being sponsored by an anonymous donor, Marshfield Teacher’s Association, Baum’s Mercantile of Pittsville, the Wildwood Zoological Society, and Marshfield Parks and Recreation. A concession stand will be open during the event. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.

For a complete list of 2015 Wild Wednesdays programs, log on to the Wildwood Zoo website at ci.marshfield.wi.us/visitors/wildwood_zoo/events.php.

The deadline to register for Camping with the Critters is this Friday, July 10. Come enjoy a night of sleeping under the stars with the Wildwood Zoo animals. Hunt through the zoo for answers to a scavenger hunt, cook food over a campfire, watch a movie at dusk, and more.

Camping with the Critters will be held on July 18 with check in starting at 4 p.m. The cost for an individual (all ages) camper is $15 per zoo society member and $20 per nonmember, or pay $20 per zoo society member and $25 per nonmember to include one child with your registration. Visit the Wildwood Zoo website for a registration form at ci.marshfield.wi.us/visitors/wildwood_zoo/camping_with_the_critters.php.

Proceeds for these events help support Wildwood Park and Zoo. For more information on any of these activities, please call the Marshfield Parks & Recreation office at 715-384-4642, ext. 0.
