Stratford softball whips Rib Lake

Alexis Hofmann hits home run, drives in three for Tigers

STRATFORD — Macie Frueh had three hits, and six other Stratford players had two hits each as the Tigers rolled to a 12-2 win over Rib Lake in a nonconference softball game Tuesday at Hilgemann Field.
Alexis Hofmann hit a home run and drove in three runs; Sammy Griesbach and Kaylee Geiger each had two hits and two RBIs; and Dallas Adams, Brettnay Bredemann, and Casey Kolbeck also had two hits apiece for Stratford (20-4).
Lorrie Luepke earned the win for the Tigers, striking out six in five innings. Both of Rib Lake’s runs were unearned.
Stratford hosts Gilman in a nonconference game on Thursday to wrap up its regular season.
