Marshfield boys tennis wins regular-season finale over Eau Claire North

Gadke, Twardowski win in straight sets in singles

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield boys tennis team wrapped up its regular-season schedule with a 4-3 nonconference dual meet victory over Eau Claire North on Tuesday at the Boson Courts.
Bryce Gadke (No. 1), John Weisenberger (No. 3), and Justin Twardowski (No. 4) won in singles’ matches for the Tigers.
Marshfield also got a victory from its No. 1 doubles team of Dylan Handrich and Sam Trudeau, who came back after losing the first set 7-5 and won consecutive sets by 7-6 scores.
The Tigers will compete at the Wisconsin Valley Conference Meet on Thursday at Wausau East and Wausau West high schools before turning to the WIAA subsectionals on May 26 at Stevens Point.
