Clark County Sheriff’s Office participates in national pharmaceutical take back initiative

NEILLSVILLE — On Saturday, May 16, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office participated in the 10th annual national pharmaceutical take back initiative.

The sheriff’s office had collection sites in the cities of Owen and Neillsville. Approximately 61.5 pounds of pharmaceutical drugs were turned in and removed from the county’s medicine cabinets.

According to Sheriff Gregory Herrick, Clark County will continue to participate in the take back initiative.
