Marshfield Parks & Recreation summer offerings

MARSHFIELD — Hefko Pool passes will be available at a discounted rate for purchase until Thursday, May 21. Save $7 on a family pass, $3 on individual adult passes, and $2 on individual youth passes. As of Friday, May 22, regular pass rates will apply. Passes may be purchased in the Parks & Recreation office or online at ci.marshfield.wi.us. Click on “Departments,” “Parks and Recreation,” “Online Registration,” and then “Pool Passes.”

The Marshfield Parks & Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Wisconsin Parks & Recreation Association (WPRA), is selling tickets to area attractions and theme parks at discounted rates throughout the summer. Pick up tickets Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. at the Parks & Recreation office, 630 S. Central Ave., Suite 201R. For a list of tickets and prices, visit ci.marshfield.wi.us, go to the Parks & Recreation page, and click on “WPRA Ticket Prices.”

Marshfield Parks & Recreation is offering two additional summer programs that were not listed in the summer brochure:

—A kickball league for children going into grades four to seven in the fall will be held Mondays at 5:15 p.m. at Reeths field. The league will run from June 15 to July 20. The cost is $15 for city residents and $21.25 for nonresidents.

—The Baseball Skills Camp will be led by American Legion baseball players and coaches. This camp will provide a variety of drills and fun exercises for children going into grades four to seven in the fall. Held June 8, 9, and 10 at GP Olson East field on Tuesday from 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Thursday from 1 to 3:45 p.m., the cost is $30.00 for city residents and $42.50 for nonresidents.
