PITTSVILLE — Stratford ripped out 26 hits and took advantage of six Pittsville errors to blast the Panthers 25-2 in a Marawood Conference South Division softball game Friday at Pittsville High School.

Lorrie Luepke allowed just two hits in five innings to earn the win for Stratford (18-4, 10-1 Marawood South). She also added three hits and six RBIs.

Brittany Bredemann went 5-for-6 with four runs scored and three RBIs, Casey Kolbeck had four hits and two RBIs, and Kaylee Geiger had two singles, a home run, and drove in four for the Tigers.

Alexis Hofmann added a pair of doubles and scored twice, and Emily Manecke had a hit, two RBIs, and scored four runs for Stratford.

Stratford will finish its Marawood South schedule Monday at home against Marathon. The Tigers can assure at least a share of the conference title with a win.
