Spencer softball blows past Owen-Withee

Rockets now 10-0 in Cloverbelt East

OWEN — Spencer took advantage of 11 walks and 11 errors to rip Owen-Withee 18-0 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division softball game Thursday.

The Rockets remain unbeaten in the Cloverbelt East, moving to 10-0 (16-3 overall).

Lexi Baehr had a double and three RBIs, Brooke Kettleborough had two hits and three RBIs, and Colleen Arnold and Courtney Buss each had two RBIs for Spencer.

Ellayna Lyon allowed just two hits and had a five-inning, complete-game shutout on the mound for the Rockets.

Spencer hosts Loyal/Granton on Friday.
