Apaches manage just three hits in home loss

AUBURNDALE — Wisconsin Rapids Assumption scored eight runs in the second inning and rolled to a 12-0 victory over Auburndale in a Marawood Conference South Division softball game Thursday at Auburndale High School.

Hannah Bolder had a double, and Jenna Ertl and Sydney Schmutzer had singles for the Apaches, who were limited to three hits.

Rachael Bolder suffered the loss, giving up the eight runs in the second inning.

Auburndale (5-12, 2-8 Marawood Conference South Division) plays at Marathon on Friday.
