Grant sixth-grader Uma Neal dazzles with cello performance

MARSHFIELD — Uma Neal, a sixth-grader from Grant Elementary, recently performed at the State Solo Ensemble competition at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she received the Exemplary Soloist Award, the highest honor attainable at that competition and an extremely rare achievement for a performer of her age. On Wednesday night Neal performed at the Marshfield School Board meeting.
