Wausau East edges Marshfield boys tennis

Tigers to compete at Wausau West Invite on Friday and Saturday

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield boys tennis team dropped to 1-3 in the Wisconsin Valley Conference with a 4-3 loss to Wausau East on Thursday at the Boson Tennis Complex.
Bryce Gadke (No. 1 singles), Jacob Limmex (No. 2 singles), and the No. 3 doubles team of Tanner Boson and Tom Kruger each won in straight sets for Marshfield.
The Tigers will compete at the Wausau West Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Doubles: 1. Dakota Osborn-Keacha Chang (WE) def. Dylan Handrich-Sam Trudeau 6-2, 6-4; 2. Sam Klug-Isaac Stine (WE) def. Austin Christianson-Jared Draxler 7-5, 6-2; 3. Tanner Boson-Tom Kruger (M) def. Shia Vang-Miles Stiffler 6-3, 7-5.
