VESPER MAN DEAD AFTER SEMI FALLS ON HIM
AUBURNDALE – A 29-year-old Vesper man is dead after a semi fell on him in the town of Auburndale according to a news release from the Wood County Sheriff’s Department. Wood County Central Dispatch was notified of the incident via a 911 call at 8:26 a.m. this morning according to the release.
By the time emergency crews arrived on the scene the man had been pulled out from underneath the semi. The release states that emergency personnel attempted life-saving measures and the man was transported to Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield where he was pronounced dead.
At this time authorities believe the incident to be accidental. Authorities are not releasing the man’s name at this time.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by the Auburndale Fire Department, Auburndale EMS, and Marshfield Ambulance.
