ITSM brings Marshfield to the cutting edge

MARSHFIELD — Information Technology Solutions of Marshfield (ITSM) is expanding its office space on Central Avenue to include a retail storefront that is scheduled to open by the end of summer.

“We do our best to evaluate customer needs and customize our services to their needs,” said Nick Wayerski, owner. “Each guy on our team has his own specialty. For example, my specialty is cameras, whereas Abraham’s specialty is phones.”

ITSM’s four employees have a combined total of 20 years of experience in the IT business. Two other businesses, Marshfield Drones and Central Wisconsin Technology, also operate out of the ITSM office space. Wayerski is the owner of ITSM and Marshfield Drones. Abraham Kurtzweil owns Central Wisconsin Technology.

They started the businesses out of their kitchens and now offer information technology, networking, surveillance camera systems, server installation and setup, drones, 3-D printers, and more. Cole Schuh and Sam Baum also work for the businesses.

“When we call with a situation and we need them to be responsive, Nick knows that it’s urgent, and he’s able to figure it out and get it done when it needs to get done,” said Nick Arnoldy, agency principal at Marshfield Insurance, which has been doing business with ITSM for just over one year.

The largest drone that ITSM has onsite boasts a carrying capacity of 20 pounds and can fly at a top speed of 45 miles per hour.

ITSM is a member of the Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry and offers generous discounts to nonprofit organizations.

“Marshfield has been a great place to start a business. It’s small enough where big companies come down to support little companies like ours,” said Wayerski.

He added that most people have not heard about their 3-D printer or drone sales and services. Wayerski mentioned that he printed new wheels for his outdoor grill at a cost of about $3 each.

“I love playing with new stuff. I like being cutting edge. I like technology,” he said. ITSM has a live video feed on its website that allows visitors to watch the 3-D printer in real time.

With over 50 customers in the central Wisconsin area, the business offers direct contact between service representatives and customers around the clock and attempts to provide the best possible service.

“If you haven’t done comparisons recently, you don’t know what’s out there until you give it a try. We noticed a night and day difference between how quickly ITSM was able to resolve issues and the quality of work they provide in comparison to our previous provider,” said Arnoldy when asked what he would recommend to someone who has not done business with ITSM before. According to Arnoldy, ITSM will work as late as 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. to avoid disrupting regular daytime business operations.

ITSM was the first technology company in Wisconsin to be insured for drone manufacturing. They build and sell drones for businesses, law enforcement agencies, and recreational users. Their largest onsite drone has a 20-pound carrying capacity, a 25-minute battery life, and can cruise at 45 miles per hour.

When asked about the company’s customer service philosophy, Wayerski said, “We make sure everyone is happy and that we do a proper job that meets the highest standards. We meet expectations within a customer’s budget and strive to do the best that we can for what a customer can afford.”

ITSM offers free site surveys, advice, and diagnostics. Wayerski confirmed that they evaluate/test and then provide an estimate or quote before any billable work is done, part of their ethical and fair approach to business.

ITSM is located at 910 S. Central Ave. in Marshfield. For more information call 715-502-4477, email nick.wayerski@itsllcmarshfield.com, or visit itsllcmarshfield.com. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.Representatives are on call 24/7.
