SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — Marshfield Middle School’s Sam Hinson recently competed in the 43rd annual Elks National Hoop Shoot held in Springfield, Mass. The national competition consisted of 12 regional winners in six age groups. The 72 boys and girls participating at this event remained from what began as approximately 2.5 million shooters in November.

Hinson competed in the Boys 12/13 year old division, finishing in second place with a score of 23 of 25 free throws. Congratulations, Sam, on your tremendous accomplishment.
