NEKOOSA — The Marshfield boys golf team finished fourth in the large school division at the Papermaker Invitational on Thursday at Lake Arrowhead Golf Course.

Marshfield’s Derek Michalski shot a season-best 81 to finish second overall. Zach Shortess tied for seventh with an 87, Jordan Schlinsog shot a 90, and Brandon Nikolai had a 91 to round out the scoring for the Tigers.

Baraboo won the team title with a score of 345, one shot better than Stevens Point-1 and two shots ahead of Stevens Point-2. The Tigers had a 349 to take fourth.

Marshfield returns to action Friday when it will participate in the first of seven Wisconsin Valley Conference meets at Stevens Point Country Club.
