Marshfield baseball falls at Stevens Point

STEVENS POINT — The Marshfield baseball team dropped its second-straight to Stevens Point this week, falling 4-1 in a Wisconsin Valley Conference game Thursday at Bukolt Park.
The Panthers won at Marshfield 12-0 on Tuesday.
Jake Brueggen threw a complete game for Marshfield, allowing two earned runs, two walks, and six hits. He struck out two.
Sam Klein and Jeremy Brost each had two hits for the Tigers (4-5, 0-4 Wisconsin Valley Conference).
Marshfield hosts Middleton for a nonconference doubleheader Saturday at Hackman Field starting at noon.
