KROENENWETTER — Auburndale pounded out 11 hits and scored four runs in two separate innings to roll past Northland Lutheran 9-2 in a Marawood Conference South Division baseball game Thursday.

Logan Willfahrt, Aaron Willfahrt, Collin Hawkins, Paul Willfahrt, and Caleb Weinfurter had two hits apiece for the Apaches, who are now 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the Marawood South.

Hawkins had a triple and drove in three runs, and Cooper Krings added a double and two RBIs for Auburndale.

Paul Willfahrt picked up the win, striking out eight and allowing just two hits in seven innings.

Auburndale plays at Athletic Park in Wausau against Newman Catholic on Friday.
