MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield boys tennis team dominated D.C. Everest, rolling to a 7-0 victory in a Wisconsin Valley Conference dual match Thursday at the Boson Courts.
The Tigers won six of the seven matches in straight sets, losing just a total four games. Marshfield’s other victory was hard-fought as the No. 1 doubles team of Sam Trudeau and Dylan Handrich defeated Cameron Kissinger and Mitch Hruska 7-6 (3), 2-6, 6-2.
Marshfield is now 1-1 in the WVC this season. The Tigers host Tomah in a nonconference match Friday, play at the Stevens Point Invitational on Saturday, and return to WVC action April 30 at Stevens Point.
