Marshfield girls hockey finishes GNC season with shutout of Lakeland

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield girls hockey team blanked Lakeland 5-0 in its regular-season finale on Friday night at the Marshfield Youth Ice Arena.
With the victory the Tigers finish the Great Northern Conference season at .500 with a 6-6 record and are 7-13 overall. Marshfield plays at Northand Pines in Minocqua on Feb. 20 in a WIAA regional final at 6 p.m.
Lakeland finishes the regular season 3-15 and 2-10 in the conference.
