Columbus Catholic boys basketball loses at Wisconsin-Minnesota Border Battle

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team fell behind by 15 points in the first half and couldn’t recover, losing 68-55 to Maple Grove Heritage Christian (Minn.) in a game at the Wisconsin vs. Minnesota Border Battle on Saturday at Cretin-Derham High School.
The Dons trailed 32-17 at halftime and outscored Heritage Christian by two in the second half but fell short.
Hunter Schultz had 18 points and Brett Loveland added 11 for Columbus Catholic, which falls to 10-7 this season.
The Dons return to action Thursday at Granton. The game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com at 7:30 p.m.
