GRANTON — The Spencer boys basketball team dominated Granton from the start and kept its unblemished Cloverbelt Conference East Division intact with a 64-26 victory over the Bulldogs on Friday night at Granton High School.

Spencer led 20-6 after the first quarter and put the finishing touches on the win with a 34-11 advantage in the second half.

Bobby Pilz had 15 points, and Miles Weber added 11 points for the Rockets, who are now 14-1 overall and 11-0 in the Cloverbelt East after winning their ninth game in a row.

Spencer returns to action Tuesday at home against Owen-Withee. The game will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com at 7:30 p.m.
