Marshfield girls basketball responds from loss with blowout win over Waunakee

MARSHFIELD – Eighteen hours after suffering a stunning home loss to Wausau West, the Marshfield girls basketball team was back in action Saturday afternoon and regrouped with a huge win.
The Tigers blasted Waunakee 63-29 in a nonconference matchup at The Boson Company Fieldhouse at Marshfield High School, improving to 12-4 on the season.
Ema Fehrenbach had 21 points, Natalie Zuelke added 17 points and Caitlin Michaelis had 17 points and eight rebounds for Marshfield.
Waunakee is now 6-9 this season.
The Tigers return to action Tuesday at Eau Claire North. The nonconference game will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com at 7:30 p.m.
