Spencer girls basketball comes up just short at Colby in OT

COLBY — The Spencer girls basketball team nearly pulled off a big road upset but in the end came up just short, losing 54-51 to Colby in overtime on Thursday night at Colby High School.
Courtney Buss, Nadia King, and Melissa Lehman each scored 11 points for the Rockets, who are now 3-8 overall and 3-7 in the Cloverbelt Conference East Division.
Jenna Jicinsky had 17 points for Colby (7-8, 7-3 Cloverbelt East).
Spencer plays at Abbotsford on Monday and at Granton on Tuesday.
