Stratford girls basketball whips Northland Lutheran

KROENENWETTER — Stratford held Northland Lutheran to eight points in the first half and cruised to a 50-21 victory over the Wildcats in a Marawood Conference South Division girls basketball game Thursday night at Northland Lutheran High School.
The Tigers led 23-8 at half and put the game away with a 13-6 run in the third quarter.
Macie Frueh had 15 points, and Andie Zuelke added 10 points and 12 rebounds for Stratford (11-4, 4-3 Marawood South).
Northland Lutheran made just five field goals in the game and falls to 4-9 and 0-6 in the conference.
Stratford’s next game is Tuesday at home against Wausau Newman Catholic.
