Marshfield gymnastics team rolls to victory over Baraboo

MARSHFIELD — Olivia Tierney won three events and the all-around, and Megan Smith was first in another event to lead the Marshfield gymnastics team to a 125.625-112.625 victory over Baraboo in a nonconference dual meet Thursday at Marshfield High School.

Tierney won the vault (8.9), balance beam (8.7), and the floor exercise (9.25) on her way to the all-around title with 34.325 points.

Megan Smith won the uneven bars with a score of 7.75 for the Tigers. Tierney took second at 7.475.

Emma Boson was second in the vault (8.15) and floor (7.8) to place third in the all-around (30.025) for Marshfield.

Macey Smith finished second in the all-around for the Tigers with a score of 30.650. She tied for second in the beam (7.75).

Marshfield will host a triangular against Arcadia and Tomah on Tuesday.
