Auburndale boys basketball pulls away from Northland Lutheran

KRONENWETTER — Auburndale took control in the middle two quarters and blew past Northland Lutheran 58-24 in a Marawood Conference South Division boys basketball game Tuesday night at Northland Lutheran High School.
Auburndale outscored the Wildcats 21-5 in the second quarter to open up a 30-11 halftime lead.
The Apaches put the game away by shutting out Northland Lutheran 16-0 in the third quarter.
Auburndale improves to 7-2 overall and 3-2 in the Marawood South. Northland Lutheran is now 2-8 and 0-4 in the conference.
Auburndale plays at Wausau Newman Catholic on Friday.
