Marshfield girls hockey blanked by Stoughton

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield girls hockey team was outshot by a 37-18 margin and was shut out by Stoughton 3-0 in a nonconference matchup Saturday at the Marshfield Ice Arena.
The Icebergs (3-9-2) scored one goal in each of the three periods, and Kenzie Torpy saved all 18 shots she saw in net to preserve the victory.
Marshfield’s Alexis Straughan had 34 saves in goal.
Marshfield (4-7) hosts Stevens Point/Wisconsin Rapids on Monday at 5 p.m.
