WEST SALEM – The Marshfield boys hockey team lost its third-straight game, falling 3-1 in a nonconference game to West Salem on Friday night at the West Salem Community Ice Arena.

Jacob Draves scored an unassisted goal 1:13 into the second period to put the Tigers up 1-0, but that would be all Marshfield could muster.

West Salem (11-1) scored a pair of goals in the second period and another in the third to win it.

Haydon Roy-Peterson had 35 saves for the Tigers (4-10). Marshfield managed just 10 shots on goal, nine of which were saved by West Salem goalie Adam Helgeson.

Marshfield plays at Wausau East on Tuesday at Marathon Park in Wausau.
