Auburndale boys basketball rolls past Pittsville

PITTSVILLE — The Auburndale boys basketball team responded in a big way after suffering its first loss of the season, blowing out Pittsville 43-16 in a Marawood Conference South Division game Tuesday night at Pittsville High School.

Auburndale improves to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in the Marawood South. Pittsville is now 3-5 and 1-3 in the conference.

Auburndale will host the Auburndale Invitational next Monday and Tuesday. Cudahy plays Weyauwega-Fremont in the first semifinal Monday night at 6 p.m. Auburndale hosts Augusta in the other at 7:45 p.m. The third-place game is Tuesday at 6 p.m., and the championship game is at 7:45 p.m.
