Columbus Catholic boys basketball gets past Colby

MARSHFIELD — The Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys basketball team evened its record at 4-4 with a 60-51 victory over Colby in Cloverbelt Conference East Division action Friday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

The Dons improve to 3-1 in the Cloverbelt East. Colby drops to 2-4 and 2-3 the conference.

Hunter Schultz and Evan Nikolai each scored 18 points, and Tyler Fuerlinger had a season-high 12 points for Columbus.

Complete statistics were not provided.

Columbus’ next game is Tuesday at home against Granton at 7:30 p.m. The game will be broadcast on WOSQ-FM 92.3 and wdlbwosq.com.
