Columbus Catholic girls basketball loses at home to Owen-Withee

MARSHFIELD — Whitney Baehr poured in 30 points, and Owen-Withee pulled away in the second half to down Marshfield Columbus Catholic 60-49 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball contest Thursday night at Columbus Catholic High School.

Owen-Withee (6-1, 5-1 Cloverbelt East) outscored the Dons 29-15 in the middle two quarters to turned a 15-11 deficit into a 40-30 lead.

Meena Thill had 11 points, and Alishia Reigel and Jess Trad each had 10 for Columbus Catholic (6-4, 3-2 Cloverbelt East).

The Dons’ next game is Tuesday at Neillsville.
