Marshfield boys basketball pulls past Mosinee

MOSINEE — The Marshfield boys basketball team outscored Mosinee 28-17 over the middle two quarters to pull past the Indians 58-43 in a nonconference game Saturday afternoon at Mosinee High School.
The game was tied 13-13 after one quarter. Then Marshfield used a 12-6 second quarter and 16-11 third quarter to open up a double-digit lead.
Will Spindler dominated inside for the Tigers (3-4), making 6 of 9 shots and finishing with a game-high 16 points. He added seven rebounds.
Tanner Boson chipped in with 11 points, Jordan Schlinsog scored nine points, and Adam Fravert had seven points and 11 rebounds for Marshfield.
The Tigers play at Wisconsin Rapids on Friday as part of a girls-boys doubleheader. The girls game starts at 6 p.m., with the boys to follow at 7:45 p.m. Both games will be broadcast on WDLB-AM 1450 and wdlbwosq.com.
