Paul Willfahrt wins 145-pound title for Auburndale wrestling at Eau Claire North Husky Invite

EAU CLAIRE — Paul Willfahrt won the 145-pound championship, and the Auburndale wrestling team finished 11th at the Eau Claire North Husky Invitational on Saturday.

Willfahrt defeated Hunter Adler of Durand 5-4 in overtime to win the 145-pound bracket and improve to 9-0 this season.

Wyatt Weiler took second for the Apaches at 170 pounds. Weiler lost to Ronny Ponick of Stanley-Boyd 5-3 in overtime.

Auburndale hosts Phillips in a Marawood Conference dual on Thursday.
