Loyal knocks off Spencer girls basketball

SPENCER — Four Loyal players scored in double figures, leading to a 67-34 victory over Spencer in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division girls basketball game Friday night at Spencer High School.
Loyal remains the only undefeated team in the Cloverbelt East, improving to 5-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference. Spencer is now 1-5 and 1-4 in the Cloverbelt East.
Macie Weber had eight points to top the Rockets.
Missy Benz had 15 points, and Karsyn Rueth and Morgan Reinwand each added 13 points for Loyal.
Spencer’s next game is Thursday at Gilman.
