Spencer girls basketball team whips Granton for first win of season

SPENCER – The Spencer girls basketball team finally found the win column, routing Granton 50-29 in a Cloverbelt Conference East Division game Tuesday night at Spencer High School.

Courtney Buss had 13 points and Macie Weber added 12 for the Rockets, who improve to 1-4 overall and 1-3 in the Cloverbelt East. Granton is 0-3 overall and in the conference.

Buss connected on 6 of 7 shots from the field as Spencer shot 36 percent.

The Rockets host Loyal on Friday night.
