Stratford wrestling rolls to unbeaten record at home Schoenherr Multiduals

STRATFORD – Nine Stratford wrestlers went a perfect 5-0 as the Tigers went undefeated to win the annual Schoenherr Multiduals on Saturday at Stratford High School.

Stratford defeated Chequamegon 65-15, Medford 65-14, Phillips 75-3, Chippewa Falls 59-15, and Wautoma/Wild Rose 63-16, to win the tournament.

Undefeated wrestlers for Stratford were Jake Drexler at 106 pounds, Jeremy Schoenherr at 113, A.J. Schoenfuss at 120, Anthony Gliniecki at 126, Mason Kauffman at 132, Dave Marquardt at 145, Kamren Bornbach at 182, Hunter Kauffman at 220 and Tyson Kauffman at 285.

Schoenherr and Tyson Kauffman each had four pins for the Tigers.

Kyle Martin also took first for the Tigers at 195 with a 4-1 record.

Stratford is off until next Saturday when it wrestles at the Weyauwega-Fremont Invitational.
