SPENCER – Owen-Withee handed Spencer its fourth-straight loss to start the season as the Rockets fell 45-41 in a close one at Spencer High School on Friday.

A night after struggling offensively and not scoring a point in two different quarters in a loss at Marshfield Columbus Catholic, the Rockets shot it better on Friday but came up just short.

Kallie Reckner had eight points and Lexi Baehr, Macie Weber and Courtney Buss each scored seven for the Rockets (0-4, 0-3 Cloverbelt Conference East Division).

Whitney Baehr had 12 points and Hayley Bunnell added 11 for Owen-Withee (1-1 overall and Cloverbelt East).

The Rockets next game is Tuesday at home against Granton.
