UW-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball rallies to beat UW-Sheboygan

MARSHFIELD — The University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County men’s basketball team overcame a seven-point halftime deficit to defeat UW-Sheboygan 76-73 on Wednesday night at home.

The Marauders (2-1) trailed 41-34 at halftime before rallying to outscore Sheboygan by 10 in the second half.

Joseph Estrict had 18 points and 12 rebounds, Covon Rudolph added 15 points, and Hunter Busse scored 13 points and had four assists for UW-Marshfield.

Marshfield plays at home next Wednesday as part of a women’s-men’s doubleheader. The women’s game starts at 5:30 p.m. with the men’s game to follow.
