Stratford football roughs up Pittsville in regular-season finale

PITTSVILLE – The Stratford football team ended the regular season on a high note, blasting Pittsville 38-0 in its finale regular-season and Marawood Conference game of the season Friday at Pittsville High School.
The Tigers won their second game in a row and improve to 6-3 overall and finish 5-2 in the Marawood, tying Auburndale for second place. Pittsville wraps up its season with a 2-7 record and a 1-6 mark in the conference.
Stratford will move on to the WIAA playoffs for the 23rd straight season. Pairings and brackets will be announced by the WIAA on Saturday.
