KROENENWETTER – Sean McCarthy and Ryan Dieringer each scored a goal, and Will Atkinson assisted on both scores as the Marshfield Columbus Catholic soccer team wrapped up the Mid-State Soccer Conference title with a 2-0 shutout at Northland Lutheran on Thursday.

The Dons finish the Mid-State season with a 10-1-1 record and improve to 12-3-3 overall. Columbus Catholic finishes its regular-season schedule Friday at home against Gresham/Bowler in a nonconference matchup. The game starts at 4:30 p.m. at Griese Park.

Columbus dominated play, holding a 20-3 advantage in shots on goal and an 18-0 advantage in corner kickers.

Evan Hansen had one save and Bailey Keffer had two for the Dons in goal.
