Stratford Football Smokes Rib Lake/Prentice

STRATFORD – The Stratford football team snapped a two-game losing streak, blasting Rib Lake/Prentice 36-6 in a Marawood Conference game Friday night at Tiger Stadium.
The Tigers improve to 4-3 overall and 3-2 in the Marawood, while Rib Lake/Prentice is now 1-6 and 0-5 in the conference.
The victory pushes Stratford one step closer to earning a WIAA playoff spot. The Tigers must win one of their final two games to clinch a berth.

Auburndale (5-1, 4-1 Marawood) plays at Stratford next Friday and the Tigers finish their regular-season schedule on Oct. 17 at Pittsville (2-5, 1-5 Marawood).
