Columbus Catholic’s Ben Behling fourth at Edgar Cross Country Invitational

RIB MOUNTAIN – Ben Behling took fourth place to help the Marshfield Columbus Catholic boys cross country team to a third-place finish at the Edgar Invitational on Tuesday at Nine Mile Forest.

Behling finished in 18:02.9, a little more than one minute behind winner Jarod Rudolph of Medford (16:53.3).

Jeremy Binder was 15th (18:48), Leonard Steinert took 16th (19:01) and Peyton Nystrom finished 17th (19:04) for the Dons, who had 74 points. Westfield won the boys title with 49 points.

Eau Claire Regis won the girls title, with Columbus Catholic taking seventh.

Morgan Albrecht was 19th in 22:54.7 to lead the Dons.

Columbus Catholic will compete in the Spencer Quad on Thursday at Frey Farm.
