Marshfield girls golf fourth at fifth leg of Clover Valley Golf League Tournament

STEVENS POINT – Molly Field tied for eighth place and the Marshfield girls golf team finished fourth at the fifth leg of the Clover Valley Golf League Tournament on Tuesday at Stevens Point Country Club.

Field shot a 48 to finish seven shots off the lead.

Mary McDonald of Stevens Point won meet medalist honors with a 41, helping the Panthers to the team win as well. Stevens Point beat Osseo-Fairchild by four shots and moved into a second-place tie with Eau Claire Regis in the overall standings.

Osseo-Fairchild continues to lead the team standings with one meet remaining – Thursday at Marshfield Country Club.

The Tigers are fifth and trail fourth-place Stanley-Boyd by two points.

Jordyn Fitzgerald and Ana Jensen each shot 50s, and Patty Jo Bloczynski and Roma Shah each had 59s for the Tigers.
